Company
Built in Canada, for the way shops actually run
Independent shops deserve great software too. We care about one job file from estimate to payment, cleaner handoffs between the counter and the bay, and paperwork carriers and bookkeepers can follow without heroic effort.
Mission
Help independent Canadian shops stay fast on the floor and sharp at the desk—whether the job is a walk-in oil change or a supplement-heavy collision file. Less re-keying, fewer side spreadsheets, and a single place everyone trusts when a customer or adjuster asks "where are we at?"
Values
- Clarity over clutter — fewer systems, sharper defaults, and pricing we are willing to stand behind.
- Security as table stakes — individual logins, sensible roles, private job documents, and encryption where customer data is sensitive.
- Respect for craft — estimators, technicians, advisors, and owners deserve software that matches their professionalism.
Our story
Built in the shop.
Scaled for every Canadian shop.
We didn't start with a pitch deck. We started with a broken workflow, a counter that needed one job file, and a shop that needed better tools yesterday.
June 2025
One shop. One problem. No patience for bad software.
BayOps was born out of frustration — estimates that lived in email, supplements buried in folders, carrier packets printed and refiled, and month-end numbers that never quite matched the bays. We built the tool we needed for real Canadian collision and mechanical workflows. No committee. No roadmap theatre. If it didn't survive a real week on the shop floor, it didn't ship.
Foundation built2025 → 2026
The workflow worked. So we rebuilt it for everyone.
"Custom build for one shop" was never the endgame. When the core held up under real pressure, we rebuilt it for many shops — secure sign-in for every person on the team, data kept cleanly separate shop by shop, and a full audit trail when you need to know who changed what. The kind of foundation owners expect when they are betting the business on the system.
Platform rebuilt2026
Doors open for independent shops.
BayOps is public — built for independent shops across Canada. Published pricing in CAD, a working product from SMS and booking to insurance supplements, and a low-friction demo when you want a walkthrough. The same craft that kept one shop running smoothly, now for every team tired of duct-taping software together.
